Planning

I love planning..sometimes anyway.  The Box is planning a trip in the fall, to Dave's homeland and my fave city, Dublin and London.  The reason is not the best in the world, involves a really depressing birthday, but a trip is a trip.  Seems like several people are interested in joining the jaunt.  Not sure how many will actually make the trip but the more the merrier.

Seems none of the people we are going to torture with our presence have dogs so I won't be taking the actual product, but the box will go all the same.

Summer Snack

Blueberry Bites......I eat way to many when they come out of the oven.  But they are yummy, I wonder if our little snackers realize how fab they are.  I look forward to June every year because that is the month when I snag the fresh ones.  I have thought about growing some, but I think it would be out of my league. I will just stick to Foxgloves.

Holiday Weekend

It was a very festive 4th this year. I went to Augusta to help John and Rich paint.  Even though that is not very glamorous , I did get to see Denise and Steve, go for a swim and watch the fireworks while driving around the river, kinda cool.

The Leftovers on HBO might be the new tv night show. We are still mourning the loss of Walt and Jesse.  Summer is in full force here in Athens and the World Cup is slowly coming to an end...yayay  Argentina!!!

Still enjoying hanging on the porch......

Pee Wee

Back in the day we had 3 dogs and that means we had to buy all of the monthly meds every two months.  I had gotten used to only buying heartgard for one in the last couple of years.  Well, that has changed...back to every two months....eye potions galore....  Even though this little beast doesn't take daily meds, when she needs attention, she goes big.  As in hundreds big.  But, what do you do.  My downfall will always be the four-legged friends I accumulate along the way.

Sad to say but when I dream of hitting the lottery, the first thing I think of is not the round the world tour I will take or the homes I will own, (those thoughts come in a close second), it is thank god I can afford regular grooming and eye drops!
