Since Oscar bites has a lot of packaging supplies sitting around in boxes, we have to make use of the hallway in his small home.  Luckily one of his fave colors is pink...very peppy in the retail world!  Hopefully it will be completed soon and he will have a cheerful place to snooze, as if he didn't have enough of those.

play date

We were hoping that Oscar would have a little buddy to come over and play today, but I guess not. Moose is a little Boston Terrior/bulldog mix.  Oh well, it is Moose's loss, no chubbie chips for him!  We picked up some new cookie cutters this past week, our collection is growing.  The new kennel korn packaging is really making a difference, people are really into it.  Of course we all know that cute sells!

I will say that it takes almost as long to package our lovely Oscar Bites as it does to bake them.  But what can you do, gotta be pretty or nobody will look at them!  After they are drawn in by the boxes...the treats speak for themselves!!!

Back to Baking

The after holiday lull is coming to an end, hopefully!  Oscar's business partner has started putting in requests for items and flavors and new packaging.  It's always great to have someone who really gets what you are doing and wants to help without rolling their eyes and laughing.  At least one of us is a Chatty Cathy and doesn't mind going forth to sell!!!

Homework

The homework I am supposed to be doing---and am doing for that matter---is a little different from the stuff i had while in school! This homework actually counts for something.  Or hoping it counts for something i should say.  Would be nice to have a stand up job again, sitting all day is getting old.

Cookies.....

I love cookies and Oscar loves cookies.  Unfortunately he does not have the selection to choose from that I do.  I have decided to help him out with that little problem.  As much as I love to be outside, I give up a little bit of outside time to bake.  I love it.  I love baking different flavors for Oscar and his friends.  I love finding different cookie cutters to make the treats more appealing, not that the dog really cares about that!  But...I like cute things and have decided that dogs do too!
