Dublin Bridge

For the big birthday trip last year we went to London and Dublin, but sadly the box didn't make it this time.  Seeing one of my besties in London and my in-laws in Dublin made the Thanksgiving season more fun than usual.  Even though I have stood on the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin several times I always have to trot across it.  I just love it.  It is so cute and I guess..elegant.  When I think of Dublin this little gem always comes to mind. Just imagine that the two guys above are the Oscar Bites box....

Tuesday

This week I have decided that Tuesday is not much better than Monday.  Perhaps it is the fact that it is cold and as we all know that is not for me.  Of course it is positively balmy here in comparison to the Northeast.  I really feel for those people.  I do know that Miss Blanche does not care for the cold either, the spaniels seem okay with it..just a brief run around the yard though.  But, Spring is on the way so that makes dreary days like this one bearable.

Monday

I wonder whey Mondays are so difficult for me to process.  Getting up early sucks, who invented the 8-5 workday anyway.  10-4 seems much more reasonable. If everyone got into that mode, those two missing hours would not be that great of a loss.  It is the time of year I start thinking about baking for people...even though it is not allowed because I will eat every crumb. When I am sometimes desperate enough to eat an Oscar Bite, really love the Blueberry Bites, I know without a doubt a pan of brownies or cookies would not last two seconds out of the oven.  It's a shame, I have all of these wonderful baking cookbooks. Valentine's Day is coming up..always a great excuse for some chocolate treats!

My little man.

Two years to the day.  After watching one of my boyfriend movies on television the situation began.  Will never forget the way I felt.  But life goes on so reaching out to other little buddies that I am sure Oscar would approve of makes it a little better.  Two years ago I also got offered the job I am currently at.  UGA Physics Department.  Such lovely people to work with.  I really lucked out with this job.  My work environment means a lot to me, don't need to be surlier than usual!  I have my friends and a window!  Can't get much better!

Another Year!!!

   Almost 2 years later. My buddy is still missed beyond belief.  I mean who wouldn't miss that face.  At least I got to look at it for many years!

 Now, on to another face.  Pretty cute if you ask me.  She is practicing her New Year's nap.  Gotta make sure you get it just right. That is very important.  Great to say that Pudgie Balls are the new fave in the Oscar Bites world. They aren't bad if I say so myself. If not for the carob chips I would probably chow down myself.

Christmas Gift

What I wouldn't give to find this under my tree this year!! Oscar did love to lounge under the tree. I am certain he like the sparkly lights..and the tree skirt was fairly comfy too.  I am getting a late start shopping this year..as in I only have 10 days left and have not purchased a thing.  I do always love to put stuff off to the last minute, I claim it always feels like christmas the closer to the actual day. Good excuse......

Cover model!

Not only has Miss Blanche been a calendar girl....October 2014 thank you very much....But, she just won a non-selfie contest and in the process won $500 for Georgia English Bulldog Rescue!!!!! The Rescue submitted this adorable photo of her highness and the pic that got the most likes within a period of 3 or so days won the prize!!!!

Blanche started off life being a professional mama dog, yuk.  She is going to spend the rest of her life being a professional princess!  So you know what I am going to say next!!!!! Next time you want to add a dog/cat/any pet to your home, please adopt!!!!
